At Avabird Crafts we aim to treat our customers as we like to be treated ourselves so don't like "small print", but to comply with the EC Distance Selling Directive and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we're required to show our standard terms and conditions of sale before accepting any orders. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected.
Contact: We will contact you in connection with your order and keep you well informed should we have any difficulties providing you with the specific goods purchased.
Orders will be processed upon full payment. While we keep strict eye on stock levels in the event that an item is ordered and it is not available or temporarily out of stock you will be notified immediately.
Delivery: We will e-mail you to confirm when your order has been posted, but obviously we do rely on Royal Mail to deliver your goods, reliability is generally good but ultimately beyond our control. Therefore, if your parcel does not arrive within 10 working days of your shipping notification please let us know via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org .As soon as we're aware of the delay we can investigate and if necessary offer a refund or despatch a replacement parcel providing the selected goods are available for despatch.
For items being collected in person please wait for a confirmation email with suitable collection times.
Returns/Refunds: We are almost certain that you will love your products, however,
If you find the goods are faulty, incorrect or that you have made an error we will exchange or refund but you must notify us within 7 days.
For fabric orders, fabric must be in original selling condition (not cut, not washed, not damaged).
Clothing/bunting must not show signs of wear, be washed or damaged.
Return postage is at Buyer’s charge unless goods are found faulty. We suggest that you send your return with proof of postage as we will not be responsible in case it is lost in transit.
Once the goods have been returned in as-new condition at your own cost we will process the refund minus any shipping costs associated with the order. Refunds will be made via original payment means.
Cancellation: We are pleased to offer a fair and equitable cancellation policy which is in addition to your statutory rights.
Whilst every effort will be made to accept the cancellation this can only happen if cancellation is made prior to any cutting of fabric or an order made to order. If cutting of fabric or production of other products has begun then 50% deposit will be kept.
Payment: As a UK company, all orders are charged to you in UK Pounds (£) inclusive of 20% VAT for customers within the EU.
Complaints: At Avabird Crafts our aim is to maintain a happy relationship with all of our customers, so if there are any problems with your order or with the service we provide then please do contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we’ll endeavour to rectify any issues to your full satisfaction.
Visual: Please note the colour of the images shown on the website may be affected by the technology used to gain access to it. Whilst we do our best to produce photos and pictures that show the products in their best light there may be some variation.
Postage/Delivery: Delivery is free on all orders over £45 made in one purchase.
For orders under £45 you can choose between Second or First Class Royal Mail delivery, all orders to be signed for.
Second Class rate £3.50 per order
First Class rate £4.50 per order.
Free local collection/pick up is welcome, choose this option at check out and we will be in touch with a suitable time to collect your item(s)

Your information will not be passed or sold to a third party under any circumstances.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We will contact regarding your order, we may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you.
